After Meghan Markle and Prince Harry sent shockwaves through the Royal Family with their bombshell announcement last week, it looks like the Duchess of Sussex may already have a new role all planned out, as she’s reportedly signed a deal with Disney for a mystery voiceover role…
Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle shocked the British public and the Royal Family alike with their shock Instagram statement last week that they would be ‘stepping back’ from their duties as senior royals. The move, believed to have been provoked by the British media’s ‘bullying’ of Meghan, has been controversial to say the least.

The couple wrote in their statement: ‘[W]e have chosen to make a transition this year in starting to carve out a progressive new role within this institution. We intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen.’
Whilst critics have questioned how exactly the couple plan to become ‘financially independent’, it looks like Meghan for one won’t have any trouble finding work. The stunning 38-year-old had already enjoyed a successful career as an actress before she married Harry – most famously playing the role of Rachel Zane on Suits for six years.
Now, it’s been revealed that Meghan may be taking steps towards going back to her acting career, as she’s reportedly signed a deal with Disney for a voiceover project. Whilst Meghan is set to work in exchange for a donation to the conservation charity Elephants Without Borders, this just goes to show she won’t have any problems finding work.
Meghan is currently in Vancouver, Canada with the couple’s eight-month-old son Archie Harrison, having flown out following the couple’s statement. Meanwhile, Prince Harry is still in the UK and he is expected to attend ‘crisis talks’ with the Queen, Prince Charles and Prince William on Monday afternoon.
