The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, appears on the latest guest on the talk show, discussing her life before she became a part of the royal family. The full episode will be aired tonight.
Memorable auditions
A few months ago, the Duchess appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show in a bombshell interview, where she discussed her unhappy times in her royal life.
Now, Markle is back on prime time with another interview that is sure to get the masses talking for weeks. On the Ellen Show, fans went gaga to finally see a radiant Meghan in a pale white top with embroidered sleeves and black pants. The former actress told the audience of her journey and the one-too many number of jovial instances from her audition days.
Meghan narrated a funny instance:
So after auditions, I would park at the back of the parking lot and I would open the trunk and climb in, pull the door shut behind me and crawl all over my seats to get out. That’s how I would come to and from.
'Special car'
Reminiscing the simpler times, the former Suits actress finally appeared happy and discussed love, life and career. She said:
I had this very old Ford Explorer Sport and, at a certain point, the key stopped working on the driver’s side, so you couldn’t get yourself in through the door.
Meghan told DeGeneres:
I would park at Gate 3, and I would scoot on over, and what was so nice is that the security guards here would always say, 'Break a leg! We hope you get it!'
So to drive in today was very different.
The Host asked 'if anyone caught the future royal crawling through her clunker,' and Meghan quipped:
No, I would play it off. I would go like, 'Oh I'm just looking for my résumé and my highlighters for my script. Oh, maybe it's back there,' and then crawl in and close it.
