The Duchess of Sussex has turned 41 today and her birthday celebrations will be different from the typical Meghan fashion. As Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have a small circle of friends in California, it is expected to be a low-key event with just family and friends.

Away from the spotlight
Royal Expert Kinsey Schofield speculates that her plans are going to include a celebration with the royal couple’s closest friends in California, reports The News. It could include an intimate dinner at the couple’s favourite steak house while the dessert could be with some baking fun with the kids – Archie and Lilibet.
Kinsey confirmed:
I imagine Meghan's birthday might be an intimate dinner at Lucky's Steakhouse in Montecito. Maybe David Foster and Katharine McPhee also got a babysitter and are there to talk shop and celebrate the Duchess.
Meghan loves to be in the kitchen so I do think she would wait to do the sweet treats and cake with Archie and Lili.
She also added:
They might even bake and decorate themselves. I think we can expect a low-key birthday for Meghan this year.
Maybe Prince Harry would gift her a new piece of jewellery that is somehow related to their babies. Their birthstones or initials.
Pause the rift
As Meghan Markle is busy celebrating her day in what some would call the classic ‘out of textbook’ way of not being in the limelight this year, the Royal Family has put their differences away too. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have sent out public wishes to Meghan Markle for her 41st birthday today. They wrote on their Twitter account and on their Instagram story:
Wishing a happy birthday to The Duchess of Sussex!
Meanwhile, the Prince of Wales–Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall—Camilla have also sent public wishes to the Duchess of Cambridge on her special day. They wrote on their official Twitter account:
Happy birthday to The Duchess of Sussex! 🎈
