Now a source has made bold claims about Meghan’s behaviour towards her employees.
Meghan Markle accused of being ‘terrible’ with her employees
Over the past few years, Harry and Meghan have seen many people leaving their businesses. Most recently, Josh Kettler, a PR professional, left the Sussexes in just three months.
While Meghan was in the UK and living with the Royal Family she was dubbed as ‘Duchess Difficult. In 2018, her treatment against two former royal aides reportedly prompted Buckingham Palace to investigate her for ‘bullying behaviour.’ Meghan denounced the allegations at that point as a ‘calculated smear campaign.’
However, a recent report has published claims that Meghan's demanding nature has contributed to high staff turnover. A undisclosed source told The Hollywood Reporter that Meghan creates a challenging environment for her employees. They said:
Everyone’s terrified of Meghan. She belittles people, she doesn’t take advice.
They’re both poor decision-makers, they change their minds frequently. Harry is a very, very charming person — no airs at all — but he’s very much an enabler. And she’s just terrible.
These reports have been linked to the so-called ‘Sussex Survivors Club,’ a term coined by former staff members who had difficult experiences working for the couple. Another source, who allegedly has experienced Meghan’s noisy tantrums and 5 am angry emails, said:
She’s absolutely relentless. She marches around like a dictator in high heels, fuming and barking orders. I’ve watched her reduce grown men to tears.
This comes after royal expert Kinsey Schofield insisted that Meghan is ‘regretful’ over what she has said over the years, reports New York Post. She claimed that many of her statements ‘weren’t received in the way she had expected.’
Is Prince Harry just following Meghan’s lead?
Meghan Markle has been accused of being dominating on several occasions. She has been blamed for orchestrating the couple's exit from the Royal Family to their settling in the States by several royal experts.
Some believe that she is taking the lead, while Prince Harry is just following along—including royal biographer Hugo Vickers.
Vickers told The Sun that the couple’s future is in doubt as they live in a ‘highly commercial’ world that is very different from the one Harry was raised in.
The Duchess seems to be more confident and outgoing in this world as compared to Harry who appears to be her ‘plus one,’ he said:
I have always thought she is the one that sets the agenda - which he follows - how willingly I don't know.
He does seem to be a plus-one. People have suggested she's been giving him messages on what to do and how to comfort himself and when I, as an outsider, look at the two of them I see a confident Meghan and a rather unhappy Prince Harry.
In regards to reports that Meghan is ‘isolating’ Harry from his friends and their kids from their royal cousins, Vickers added:
I think his life is being more shaped by Meghan than himself.
