It is rumoured that the Sussexes are working on a wellness book together. Leaving the fourth book a mystery. Will the Duchess write her own autobiography? The Duchess hinted at it in her The Cut interview.

She told the interviewer:

It’s interesting, I’ve never had to sign anything that restricts me from talking. I can talk about my whole experience and make a choice not to.

Leaving ‘no stone unturned’

A source told OK! magazine:

She (Meghan Markle) fully intends to write this book and leave no stone unturned.

It comes after a publishing insider said that Prince Harry has harshly criticised his brother William, Prince of Wales and his sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, but has been relatively lenient on his father, King Charles III.

The source continued:

It’s just a question of timing and how long she wishes to hold out in order to preserve what’s left of her and Harry’s relationship with King Charles.

The source also claimed that Prince Harry and Meghan feel they have little to lose regarding their relationship with the Royals.

Hinting at political ambitions

There has been much speculation about what Meghan intends to do with her future. One returning theory is a future in politics.

Since leaving the institution, Meghan has become more vocal again about her views on women’s rights and parental leave, to name a few. The Duchess is good friends with feminist icon Gloria Steinem, who is involved in liberal politics, and according to a friend of Steinem’s, Meghan’s views are similar.

They said:

Meghan has strong views very much in alignment with Gloria's in terms of social justice and women's rights. Gloria is encouraging her to make her voice heard.

A Hollywood agent said that writing a book ‘would make even more sense’ if the Duchess has political ambitions. Donald Trump, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama both used this strategy before they took on the White House. The idea was to set out their beliefs before launching their bids for the White House.

However, one Hollywood executive issued a warning:

If I was advising her I would caution against releasing a book too quickly because there is a very real danger that people will start experiencing 'Sussex fatigue'
