TW: mentions of trafficking and abuse

Epstein’s name has been all over the media at the moment, following the release of the so-called ‘Epstein list’. This list comes from documents that include testimonials and therefore mention people who were around involved parties but did not necessarily have anything to do with Epstein and his trafficking. That being said, Prince Andrew's name appears over 70 times in the documents. This is, of course, a bad sign for the royal who had recently been reintegrated into the royal family at Christmas.
Now, Epstein is dead and his long-term companion and accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell is serving time behind bars. The public’s attention has therefore turned to those who have been accused of having ‘massages’ from underage women who were managed by Epstein. Now, a main lawyer in the case is calling for the CCTV from Epstein’s mansion to be released for public viewing. Here’s what Spencer Kuvin has said about the CCTV, and how it could mean more bad news for Prince Andrew.
What the lawyer has said about the CCTV
Spencer Kuvin is an attorney who has represented nine victims in the Epstein affair. He is now urging the FBI to release the videos and images from CCTV inside Epstein’s mansion to the public. Kuvin, along with Epstein’s victims and former employees, has insisted that 24/7 home surveillance was in place with cameras in every room.
According to The Telegraph:
The Florida based attorney claimed that senior FBI officers seized the hard disks and stored videos and wants the bureau to now allow the public to see what material is on those videos.
Kuvin told Fox 11 LA’s TMZ Live that he has personally walked around Epstein’s mansion after the search warrant was granted and ‘identified numerous cameras and computer hard drives that were missing’. He believes that ‘a lot of that information was seized by the FBI not only in Palm Beach but also in Virgin Islands and Manhattan’. Kuvin wants to know:
Where are the videos?
A former employee has spoken up about Prince Andrew
A former housekeeper of Epstein’s has spoken out about Prince Andrews’s involvement in this dark affair, which could be brought to light if the CCTV footage is ever released. According to Juan Alessi, the royal had regular massages when he stayed at the disgraced financier’s home in Florida.
Alessi specified that the Duchess of York had only visited ‘once and for a short time’, but that Prince Andrew ‘spent weeks with us’. When asked about the frequency of Andrew’s massages during that time, he replied: ‘I would say, daily massages’.
Gloria Allred, another lawyer who has represented victims in this case, agreed that Prince Andrew has ‘a lot of explaining to do’. She highlighted that his lack of cooperation is not sending the right message:
It is very unusual that law enforcement have publicly said they would like to speak with Prince Andrew and that he has not done that.
Allred also explained that it is not for Andrew to say whether his testimonial would be helpful in the investigation or not, as it is ‘not for him to decide’ what information is relevant as the investigation progresses.
