The most influential talk-show host of the United States is close to the royal couple and was a guest at their wedding last year. More recently, they've been meeting because they are working together on a documentary about mental health.

During an interview on CBS on Thursday, April 10th, Oprah was keen to defend the Duchess, who is criticised for being too haughty, picky, authoritative and calculating.
"It's remarkable"
The American mogul wanted to highlight Meghan's "big heart" and the "warm and loving" side of her friend. She also expressed her admiration for the Duchess, who has become accustomed to not reading criticism about herself in the press. "She doesn't read anything at all, I think it's remarkable," commented the host.
Before that, George and Amal Clooney had already publicly defended their friend. Meghan Markle's staff also wanted to defend her in the press. The British royal family refuses to speak about this kind of rumour.
