The Daily Mail reveals what the former masseuse experienced while she gravitated around Prince Andrew, as well as his disgraced friends Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

25 years ago, Monique Giannelloni was one of the most sought after massage therapists in the UK, and she worked with high-profile clients such as David Schwimmer and Michael Flatley. It was around that time that she met Ghislaine Maxwell, who introduced her to Prince Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein. The former masseuse dedicated an entire chapter of her memoir to the three friends, who partly traumatised her. Her memoir entitled My Massage Diaries & A Royal Encounter, particular highlights once instance in which she had to massage Prince Andrew. An encounter that Giannelloni has labelled uncomfortable.

The royal encounter

She recalls being asked by Prince Andrew to come massage him in Buckingham Palace, in 2000. She got into the Palace rather easily thanks to her car registration, but the uncomfortable encounter happened once she was in the room.

Monique Giannelloni recalls how the Prince immediately stripped fully naked in front of her, which is not customary unless the massage therapist asks you to. She still feels uncomfortable thinking about it, as she told the Daily Mail:

Andrew showed a complete disregard for my professionalism. Of course, I have seen naked bodies while working before, but his behaviour was driven by his sense of entitlement.
As a member of the Royal family, he should be showing a greater sense of decorum and taste. I am a respectable and qualified massage therapist.

Giannelloni is not the first masseuse who has had an less-than-pleasant experience having Prince Andrew as a client.

The masseuse also recalls other instances that made her apprehensive about Maxwell and her inner circle.

Monique Giannelloni rejected Maxwell's invitations to join their parties

The 60-year-old former masseuse claims Maxwell also tried to groom her for some of Epstein's sex parties. Monique Giannelloni was invited by Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein to a VIP boat party, which she refused after hearing Maxwell say 'what happens on the boat, stays on the boat'. The former masseuse explained:

It wasn’t difficult for me to reject her offers. I just didn’t feel right about her boat parties. It was Andrew’s choice to be friends with those individuals Ghislaine and Epstein and somehow, I ended up in their world because of my work.

She also told the Daily Mail:

I had some dark days after all the stuff about Ghislaine and Epstein and their terrible sexual predatory behaviour blew up. It shocked me to think she had tried to lure me into their circle.
