Simon Charles Dorante-Day has been trying to prove that he is a legitimate member of the royal family for a number of years now. His Facebook page, which has a following of 14,000 people, is filled with posts in which he compares his facial features to people in the royal family. His complicated adoption story has also been covered by a number of local media outlets in Australia.

Homecoming?
Despite his efforts to get noticed by the royal firm, his so-called parents and grandmother have refused to comment or even acknowledge his presence. While ignoring him may be easier when he’s all the way in Australia, this year the family may have to finally come face to face with the 55-year-old man who claims to be the son of Prince Charles.

On 22 January, Dorante-Day revealed that he will be ‘coming back’ to the UK this winter to celebrate Christmas in his ‘home.’ He wrote on Facebook:
…lots of different things planned for this year, but the one I'm really looking forward to the most is going home to the UK for Christmas.
Always wanted to take Dr. Elvianna and the children back to where I grew up!
Getting some answers
He announced that he will be visiting places like Hampshire, Dorset, Buckinghamshire and London and will definitely be making a pit stop at Windsor—one of the Queen’s official residences. Dorante-Day has not revealed if he has made any plans to contact the family while he is in the UK but he did mention that he had some ‘paperwork and documents to collect.’

In a previous post published on 14 January, he reported that he has been taking a number of legal actions ‘in regards to his paternity case’ with Prince Charles and Camilla. While he has kept details of the case private, his trip could certainly be essential in him getting the answers he has always wanted.
