Simon Charles Dorante-Day, famously known for being Prince Charles and Camilla’s alleged ‘love child’, has been fighting to get a paternity test from the royals for a few years now.

Ongoing legal matter
Whether that fight has been a one-sided affair is still unknown but Dorante-Day recently shared that the legal and political actions in regard to his paternity case are still ‘ongoing.’ He wrote on his Facebook page:
Before Christmas a number of Legal and Political actions were taken, both in the United Kingdom and in Australia, in regard to my paternity case with Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall.
I can’t and won’t elaborate upon these any further, as they are still current actions.
In January 2020, the man told Australian weekly magazine New Look, that he had filed papers seeking damages against the future king of England, in Queensland, and that ‘it was being sent to Sydney for a High Court to review the case.’ Very little official information about that case and his efforts to get a DNA test from the family have been made public so far. Moreover, the 55-year-old implied in his message that the details will remain private. He added:
Not everything my wife, Dr. Elvianna, and I do is made Public! People really don’t know what we actually do day to day, nor whom we communicate with!
Simon Charles Dorante-Day’s claims
Dorante-Day is not the first outsider to claim that he has a link to the royal family, but he is certainly the most persistent about proving his lineage.
Although he has no official records or statements from royal family members about the legitimacy of his allegations, he regularly takes to Facebook to post about the similarities between his own children, himself, and members of the royal family. He even wrote an open letter to the Queen in November, imploring her to acknowledge his presence and reveal the truth.
While only a DNA test will be able to confirm or deny his claims, Dorante-Day has racked up quite a sizeable following of over 14,000 people—some of whom are convinced that he is in fact the ‘secret son’ of Prince Charles and Camilla. One of his followers, who commented on his open letter to the Queen, said:
My heart aches for you and your family, Simon. I truly wonder how Camilla can stand her first born to be treated in this fashion. Her heart must be breaking.
