Tom Bower’s new book - Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War between the Windsor is reportedly something that Meghan is ‘dreading.’ The book is said to drop in many bombshells for the readers and one of them is how Prince Charles made the final judgement on the Sussexes’ balcony appearance at the Jubilee event.

Private citizens
According to the book’s claims, Meghan needed them to appear on the balcony and be in the limelight for their upcoming Netflix contract, reports Mirror. As such, Prince Harry tried to convince her majesty’s advisers first and when that didn’t work out, he arranged to meet with her on his way to the Invictus Games in April. Since the Queen was keen on meeting his grandson, she agreed to meet the couple only if they met Prince Charles before her.
The Sussexes met with the Prince of Wales amid anxiety brought on by their controversial Oprah Winfrey interview. Bower alleges that Harry sought to meet the Queen at Windsor in an effort to gain a spot on the balcony. However, even after the meeting, the issue remained unresolved until Prince Charles ‘preferred’ that the Sussexes were not permitted to enter the balcony or ride in the royal carriage for the Platinum Jubilee because they have become ‘private citizens’ after stepping down from the position of Senior royals.
Meghan’s nightmare
The memoir also describes how the Sussexes were left ‘festering with fury’ when their request to be on the balcony was denied by the royals. This new royal biography by Tom Bower is expected to be problematic for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Bower spent a year obtaining rare interviews with Meghan's allies and foes before penning down the tell-all biography. The book is scheduled for release next week.
