Prince Edward’s uncanny resemblance to his father Prince Philip shocks fans

We are back again with another lookalike piece within the Royal Family. We have already seen that Princess Eugenie’s children look remarkably similar to Prince Harry’s but also that Princess Charlotte looks a lot like her late grandmother, Princess Diana.

This time, the resemblance is with Prince Edward the Duke of Edinburgh and a former Duke of Edinburgh. As you can probably guess, we are talking about Prince Philip. The internet has noticed that Prince Edward looks so much like his father.

We all know that parents often look like their children, but the resemblance between Princes Philip and Edward is incredible, they could be twins!

Prince Edward is the spitting image of Prince Philip

In Prince Edward’s most recent outing, royal fans were quick to notice how much he looked like his father, Prince Philip.

The new Duke of Edinburgh was at the Guards Polo Club in Windsor Great Park. Prince Edward was wearing a Panama hat - which Prince Philip often wore - a navy blazer and silk slacks.

The outfit itself is very Prince Philip, but if you add the resemblance, you would almost have to look twice thinking you saw Prince Philip.

Prince Edward is dressing more and more like Prince Philip

It seems that with age, Prince Edward is dressing more and more like his father. Royal fans also noted that Prince Edward looked just like Prince Philip during the Royal Ascot.

Dressed in a coat and top hat, he was a carbon copy of his father. As reported by Hello! Prince Edward has often copied his father’s style. Indeed in 1976, a young Prince Edward was dressed in a tartan kilt just like Prince Philip whilst at the Braemar Highland Games in Scotland.

One person tweeted that Prince Edward has developed his father's mannerisms, adding to the resemblance!

When he walks with his hands behind his back it’s uncanny how he does it In exactly the same way his father did.
