Valentine Low’s – a Times reporter – new book ‘Courtiers: the Hidden Power Behind the Crown’ has jaw-dropping new revelations about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. These allegations are from around the time when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were still working royal members, that is, before they quit The Firm and settled in the USA. Here are the three revelations of the book, which is set to release on October 6, that have had the most impact.

Prince Harry v/s Prince George
According to one of the claims of the new book, Prince Harry felt like he was in some competition with his nephew Prince George, confirms Mirror. He believed he had a shelf life and would someday become ‘irrelevant.’
He had this thing that he had a shelf life. He was fixated [on] this.
Until George turns 18, was the way he was thinking about it. ‘Then I will be the also-ran.’ He was genuinely thinking of it as, ‘I have this platform now, for a limited amount of time. I want to move forward, move forward.’
He also compared himself with the disgraced duke in this regard. The Source added:
He would compare himself with his uncle [Prince Andrew]. He would say, 'I have this time to make this impact. Because I can'.
Harry ‘put in place’ by Queen Elizabeth II
The Sussex wedding is subject to a lot of drama, allegations and some more drama. Amidst this, The Sun confirms that shortly before the wedding, Prince Harry was put in his place by the Queen. The infamous wedding tiara row, where Meghan wanted Queen Mary’s bandeau tiara but couldn’t get it, was a time when Prince Harry was ‘downright rude’ to the royal staff.
The Queen’s personal dresser Angela Kelly was not available and that made Prince Harry furious. This further made Queen Elizabeth II intervene and ‘firmly’ put Harry ‘in his place.’
Money minded Meghan
In another wild claim from the book, Low alleges that Meghan wanted to be paid for her royal duties while she was on a 16-day royal trip to Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand, in 2018. The Sussex couple was popular back then and attended an impressive 76 engagements.
While Meghan was happy to be the centre of attention, she didn’t see any relevance to it. And so, an anonymous royal source claimed that Meghan said:
I can't believe I'm not getting paid for this.
