Amidst this, new rumours suggest that the Royal couple is close to selling their £11 million California home as neighbours seem to dislike them.
Are Prince Harry and Meghan Markle selling their £11 million California home?
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are eyeing a cheaper £3 million home in Malibu, reported The Mirror. As the couple plans to relocate again, their neighbours have shared that the couple is ‘hardly home’ and ‘never seen’ at their current nine-bedroom property.
This comes after Prince Harry wanted to move to New York in October last year as well. Meghan and the Duke have been in and out of the Big Apple many times last year and Harry feels at home in the city, despite their alleged high-speed chase through Manhattan in May.
An unknown source claimed that Prince Harry enjoyed ‘the fast pace, the culture, the social scene’ of New York. Additionally, it would be a lot easier for him to visit his family in London if they lived in New York as it would only be an 8-hour flight instead of the 11 hours - from their current Montecito home. The source added:
Harry was all gung-ho for the Malibu move a few months ago. Yes, it was Meghan's idea, but he was excited about it.
It feels odd that now he wants out of that Californian life and is suggesting they buy a place in New York instead. It's almost like he's trying to sabotage things because it makes zero logical sense.
Meghan Markle, on the other hand, wants to stay close to Los Angeles for work opportunities.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s neighbour ‘tired’ of the couple
Meanwhile, the Royal couple’s neighbours are allegedly becoming annoyed with their ‘travelling soap opera’ and their dramatic life in the spotlight.
According to one local, the couple is never home and the tolerance towards them is getting low. The local explained:
Harry and Meghan live down the street but in a considerably pricier spot, though nobody around here is exactly living in cardboard boxes. Since we never see them, local tolerance seems to mirror USA tolerance in general.
People who like them seem to have an unlimited tolerance, no matter what they do, somehow tied to the 'handsome prince falls for commoner' fairytale.
Everyone else is either unimpressed by the travelling soap opera or is just sick of hearing about them.
