Prince Harry and Meghan could be snubbed from Met Gala

Met Gala - the most popular annually held Gala in the world - is coming back this year on the first Monday of May. While celebrities and prominent figures are excited about the event, there are rumours that Prince Harry and Meghan may get 'snubbed' from the Met Gala due to their ongoing rift with the Royal Family.

According to OK! Magazine, since the Gala would take place five days before King Charles’ coronation, chances are Anna Wintour’s guest list may exclude them to avoid any drama. However, with this in mind, it’s also predicted that even if the Sussexes are invited to the star-studded affair that could ‘boost their public perception in America,’ they’re likely to decline the invite.

As a reminder, Prince Harry and Meghan have not attended the Met Gala before.

Jordan James, CEO of Unlocked PR claimed:

It certainly wouldn't come as a major surprise if they were snubbed given their current status within the Royal Family and the ensuing drama.
They aren't likely to attend as they will undoubtedly face scrutiny, no matter how hard they may try to minimise fallout - especially with how close this event is to the Royal Coronation.

Jordan pointed out that Prince Harry and Meghan have been ‘shifting’ the way they present themselves to the world amidst the current situation as well. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were also no-shows at this year's Oscars and as such not attending the ‘Hollywood’s most prestigious red carpet event’ may be a part of their new PR plan, confirmed Mirror.

Jordan James said:

While the couple isn’t always known for laying low, I think we are beginning to see a shift in how they want to be presented - whether this is truly by choice though we may never know.
