Another snub ahead
It was expected that there would be a ‘thawing of relations’ between the Sussex family and The Firm after Elizabeth II’s death. However, the Sussex couple is determined to go on with their media projects that can be alarmingly harmful to the monarchy.
Amidst this, a source has confirmed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are about to snub the Royals one more time. Mirror reported that the Duke will not accept the Christmas invitation which is expected to be sent by his father King Charles III.
Meaning, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will not only be not returning to the UK for Christmas but also not join the rest of the family for the first Christmas since Queen Elizabeth II’s death.
The source added that the relationship between the Sussexes and the Firm is at ‘near rock bottom’ and with Prince Harry’s memoir release due on January 10, a Christmas reconciliation is highly unlikely.
Memoir scare
As such, Prince Harry and Meghan have ‘no plans’ to again join the fab four – King Charles, Queen Consort, Prince William and Kate – along with the rest of the family at Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.
Meanwhile, an insider confirmed that the Royals are ‘completely caught by surprise’ with the title of Harry’s memoir. Expected to be a part of his story of growing up in the shadow of heir Prince William, the Royals are terrified of the ‘raw, unflinching honesty’ it would deliver.
