John Lyden believes Harry and Meghan should leave if they want privacy
John Lyden, the former frontman of the Sex Pistols, is one of Prince Harry and Meghan’s neighbours in Montecito.
The 67-year-old attacked the couple in an interview with The Telegraph where he thinks that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex should just leave their celebrity lifestyle behind if they want peace and quiet. Moreover, he suggests that they should also leave the Royal Family alone.
Prince Harry and Meghan live just 60 miles away from Lyden and he isn’t impressed by ‘the noise they’re making.’ He told The Telegraph:
If you want to be normal and outside of [the Royal Family], then f___ off. Just f___ off and shut up.
Adding:
They’re very, very spiteful to families and friends.

John Lyden understands Prince Harry and Meghan’s decision to leave
Despite finding them ‘spiteful’ the former Sex Pistols singer does reveal he understands Prince Harry and Meghan’s choice to leave the Royal Family as he has been in similar situations before:
I’ve had to make decisions like this in the past. I had to leave the Pistols, I had to break up PiL a couple of times because the situation was unsustainable.
Even though he understands their situation, he doesn’t understand their need to write memoirs and tell the world about their business:
And if that was their dilemma then please go away, alright? And we’ll love you for it. But they won’t. And I’ve never been one for kiss and tell books.
