Prince Harry’s mansion

The Duke of Sussex’s luxury mansion in California – which the couple is allegedly thinking of selling – is built on 5.4 acres of land and has every amenity imaginable. For starters, the house has 9 bedrooms and 16 bathrooms! It also boasts a magnificent library, office, spa, game room, gym and wine cellar. The Sussexes can accommodate up to 5 cars in their five-car garage.

Apart from these ‘basics,’ Prince Harry’s mansion is a little world of its own. It was sweeping lawns, tall Italian cypress trees and tiered rose gardens along with olive trees and blooming lavenders. There’s a decent tennis court for the Sussex family to play, a pool to frolic in and a tea house. Prince Harry and Meghan’s children – Archie and Lilibet – also have a children’s cottage.

And despite having this huge space, Harry and Meghan have often witnessed showing off the minimalist vibe of their house. On various occasions when they’ve taken virtual engagements from their house, one can see the decoration is minimal yet elegant as per the former Royal’s taste.

Prince William’s humble abode

Compared to his brother, Prince William lives in not only a much smaller house but also doesn’t have as many luxuries as him. His house Adelaide Cottage is a four-bedroom modest home that is barely a 10-minute walk away from Windsor Castle. Prince William has considerably downsized by moving from Kensington Palace to Adelaide Cottage.

The house – which is described as ‘relatively modest and low-key’ for a Royal residence – still supports decoration and vibe from its Royal legacy. The Sun confirmed that the master bedroom features golden dolphins and ceiling rope decorations – all of which are recycled from a Royal yacht. The house was modernised in 2015, so Prince William and Kate made no additional changes in the house before moving in.
