Prince Harry and his beard craze

Beards are in

His bearded look has been winning hearts for years now, but even more so since Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral last month. Prince Harry was seen supporting a ‘golden chin’ of facial hair and that has allegedly sparked an increase in people enquiring about a beard transplant surgery.

Wimpole Clinic’s recent data suggests that there has been an increase of 25 per cent in beard transplant enquiries ever since the Royal funeral last month, reports Mirror. The CEO of the clinic, Warren Vaheeswaran said:

Prince Harry looked spectacular in recent coverage - his facial hair capped a really handsome look, it seems that trendsetters have taken notice.
Since his beard hit the front pages we’ve been bombarded with enquiries for our popular beard transplants.

Suggesting that the Duke of Sussex has become somewhat of a role model for the younger generation, Warren added:

We've had a 25 per cent uptick in requests. It's an easy procedure and the masculine look is now very much in vogue again. Harry is a great role model for young men.
With prices going around £3,500, men feel it's worth the money to look stylish in London.

As such more and more people are wanting to adopt the ‘golden chin’ classic Harry look.

Royals and beards

Although Prince Harry is mostly seen supporting a bead, his brother and father rarely take part in this trend. The only time Prince William was seen in a beard was in 2008 and rumour has it, it was to disguise his identity during an SBS mission before he entered the RAF.

Meanwhile, King Charles grew a beard back in 1975 when he went on a Naval exercise in Alaska.
