Since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left the Royal Family back in 2020, they have kept their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, away from the public eye. So much so that only a handful of photographs of the young children exist. Many people also wonder what nationality the children will get as they grow up. However, the former senior member of the Firm has recently shared a sweet insight into his family life. Here's what he said.

Prince Harry reveals Archie and Lilibet were 'blessed' with Meghan's hair

During an interview with Hello! in September 2024, while he was attending the WellChild Awards, Prince Harry spoke to journalist Sophie Vokes-Dudgeon about his family life, which he is intent on keeping private. The content chief editor wrote:

I knew that the WellChild Awards were special to Prince Harry, but it wasn't until I had seen him in action that I was able to understand quite how much this special day means to the 40-year-old royal.

After describing the Prince's behaviour, which was very relaxed, Sophie Vokes-Dungeon revealed a new piece of information about the two young children. She explained:

Archie and Lili have been blessed with their mother's thick hair, he told us, self-effacingly, as he marvelled that it won't be long until Lili can sit on hers.

The last photos of Lilibet that the public have seen are when she still had shorter hair!

Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet are growing up away from the limelight, but they have made several appearances on their parents' Netflix documentary, as well as their Christmas cards. They seem to have inherited their hair texture from their mother, and their ginger locks from their father.

The former senior member of the Firm also talked about his wife, and explained she was looking after their children and pets at home while he was visiting Great Britain. The Hello! journalist wrote:

His wonderful wife Meghan was holding the fort, he said, her hands full with not only their two children but also their three dogs, which he joked were not quite house-trained. Not to mention the chickens!

Meghan Markle may be holding down the fort, but she's certainly been making appearances of her own. Her latest had everyone's eyes fixed on her changed hair!

Meghan Markle's hair change got people talking

In October 2024, Meghan Markle appeared at the LA's Children Hospital Gala, and fans immediately noticed a hair change on the Duchess. While she had always been known to have straight hair and a luscious blow-out, she let her natural waves flow this time. Speaking to The Express, celebrity stylist Katie Allan said:

The waves are a lot softer than we are used to seeing on Meghan, and is a contrast to her usual style of low buns or bouncy blow dries.

According to her, this change could mean the Duchess is finally ready to appear more relaxed and relatable.

This natural yet glamorous look could suggest that she’s feeling more relaxed, relatable and approachable.

Katie Allan went on:

We often change up our style when we are embracing a lifestyle or attitude change, so this new look could reflect that.
