In early February 2025, British comedian Jack Whitehall appeared on a Melbourne breakfast radio show, entitled Nova 100's Jase & Lauren, as he is currently touring Australia along with his father for their comedy show Jack & Michael Whitehall Live. The father-son duo has already made headlines with their Netflix series Travels with My Father, which gathered millions of watchers worldwide. Jack's kidult behaviour and Michael's stern comments quickly became fan favourites.

Jack Whitehall used the opportunity to set the record straight about his past friendship with none other than Prince Harry.
Jack Whitehall claims he was dropped by Prince Harry after a joke
Jack Whitehall explained that he had a 'good' friendship with Prince Harry before he married Meghan Markle, at which point he feels like he was 'dropped' by the couple. The 36-year-old comedian declared:
I was quite good friends with Prince Harry back in the day, pre-Meghan when he was a tearaway.
When asked if he was 'dropped' by his friend after he got into a relationship with the Suits actress, Jack Whitehall answered:
Yeah I mean I wasn't part of his inner circle… but I had a few nights out with him when he was quite fun.
The 36-year-old comedian, who recently welcomed a baby daughter named Elsie with model Roxy Horner, also believes he was 'dropped' by his former friend because of a joke he made at the Royal Variety Show in 2015. During Jack's How To Survive The Summer Holidays tour, his father Michael Whitehall said:
That is your friend Harry. Except you are not allowed to see him anymore. You have been banned... ostracised from the Sussexes.
To which the dad-of-one responded:
I think I have been banned because I called him 'Ginger Nuts' at the Royal Variety.
Of late, Prince Harry and Meghan have been on the tongues of a few stars—but not always for the best reasons. Recently, John Mulaney took a jab at the couple.
John Mulaney also roasted the couple twice
At the end of January 2025, several celebrities and A-listers were gathered for an event called Next on Netflix. During the show, American comedian John Mulaney took to the stage to promote his new comedy show entitled Everybody's Live with John Mulaney. He naturally said some jokes, and one in particular left the audience gasping. According to Page Six, he said:
This is a really fun experiment. Not since Harry and Meghan has Netflix given more money to someone without a specific plan.
The stunt was directed at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's 5-year deal with Netflix, worth $10 million, which includes their docuseries Harry & Meghan, as well as other solo projects. A source told Page Sixthe audience was left laughing rather awkwardly:
It was shocking to me that Netflix would seemingly allow Meghan and Harry to be ridiculed at such a prestige event. The head honchos were all there.
However, this is not the first time John Mulaney has taken a shot at Prince Harry. Back when the couple announced they were leaving the Royal Family, the comedian left viewers of NBC's Late Night With Seth Meyers baffled as he said:
You dumb ginger, don’t leave your title just because you don’t like your 94-year-old grandma.
As per Mail Online, a few weeks after his stint, he checked into rehab with a source saying that he was 'out of his mind on substances' while shooting for the segment.
