The entire Royal Family gathered on the balcony at the palace. Queen Elizabeth II of course, Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, Prince William and Kate Middleton, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and lots more. The only member who was missing was Prince Philip, Queen Elizabeth’s husband who has ‘retired’ from making public appearances after just turning 98 years old.
But for this Trooping the Colour, everyone was talking about the youngest members of the Royal Family, especially Prince Louis. This was his first public appearance at a little over a year old and he was making people smile with his gestures, attitude and funny faces. His outfit also captured lots of people’s attention, since the blue shorts and white, embroidered t-shirt that he was wearing used to belong to his uncle, Prince Harry, who had worn the same outfit during Trooping the Colour in… 1986! A tribute that did not go unnoticed.
