Prince George to go to Marlborough College like Kate Middleton
Insiders have now claimed that Prince George will go to Marlborough College like his mother Kate. According to Tatler, if George goes to Marlborough, it will be the first time a male heir attends a co-educational school.
Marlborough holds special significance for Kate who thrived there during her teenage years and it boasts an illustrious alumni list, including the Princess who joined the college in 1996. The source said conversations about George attending Marlborough have ‘ramped up’ recently and discussion about which house he will call home is also in talks. The source added:
Parents have been talking about nothing else and discussions have really ramped up in recent weeks but security is obviously a massive consideration.
With security in mind, it is believed that George would board at C1 House. As a house located within the College’s main quad, the all-boys accommodation will be the safest for him. As compared to other houses, it is a short walk to reach classes. This means that the kids will be living away from home, should they go to Marlborough College and it will be a major change in their current lifestyle.
