The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are set to start a new chapter of their life with a big move closer to Windsor Palace. The couple is now believed to be considering moving into Prince Andrew’s larger Windsor house after Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson bought a new house in Mayfair.

Closer to the Queen
Royal commentator - Rachel Bowie – claims that Prince William and Kate are looking to move to Adelaide Cottage. The cottage incorporates parts of the original Royal Lodge, which would move them closer to the Queen and give them more living space, reports Mirror.
The disgraced Duke’s house would soon become available after Fergie bought a new property in Mayfair on the Grosvenor Estate. Grosvenor Estate is owned by the Duke of Westminster, who is a friend of the Cambridges and Prince George’s godfather as well. Rachel said:
The speculation is they didn't pay full price for this and they got a good deal because, 'Hey, help my aunt, she needs a house'. It is interesting because there's a lot of talk about the Cambridges moving into Royal Lodge.
Supposedly, Andrew and Fergie are staying at Royal Lodge for now, but if they had this other home is the plan maybe they can move into this Mayfair place and the Cambridges could move into Royal Lodge? Who knows.
Easy life
The move to Berkshire will allow Prince William and Kate Middleton to expand from their current Apartment – 1A – in Kensington Palace to a much larger property. Prince Andrew’s house would be perfect for their three children and would also help them to carry out more royal engagements and maintain their office at the palace.
