ROYAL FAMILY MEMBERS THEN VS. NOW

As many know, Prince William and Prince Harry don’t have much of a relationship since the Duke of Sussex stepped down as a working royal in 2020. Indeed, the brothers have only seen each other a handful of times since Prince Harry moved to the US with his wife, Meghan.

Being a part of the Royal Family also means receiving inheritances at certain ages, the brothers both received a sizeable inheritance from their mother, Diana. It has been said that the Queen Mother left Prince William and Prince Harry a sizeable trust fund for when they turn 40. Prince William has already benefited from his, but Prince Harry will soon receive his share.

According to reports, Prince William is reportedly not pleased that his brother will receive his inheritance.

Prince Harry set to inherit £7 million from the Queen Mother

As reported by Express, Prince Harry should receive £7 million on his 40th birthday, which is on September 15. The money is part of the inheritance left to him by his great-grandmother, the Queen Mother.

Prince William had also received an inheritance from the Queen Mother when he turned 40 two years ago. However, according to reports, Prince Harry will receive more than his older brother. As per Mirror, the Queen Mother had left £14 million to share between the two brothers, but she had reportedly decided to leave more to Prince Harry, knowing that one day, Prince William would be King.

Indeed, when Queen Elizabeth passed away and Charles became King, Prince William inherited several new titles, including the Prince of Wales title and he also received the Duchy of Cornwall, for which he had new plans.

According to a source close to Prince William he isn’t pleased to know that his brother is receiving money.

Prince William isn’t pleased about upcoming inheritance

As mentioned above, the source claims he isn’t pleased that his brother will receive £7 million ‘without lifting a finger for it’. The source told Closer that Prince William is ‘disgusted’.

William’s pretty disgusted that once again Harry’s going to be cashing out and taking millions back to his Montecito home without lifting a finger for it.

The unnamed source added that the Prince of Wales can’t do anything about the situation, but if it were his choice, his brother wouldn’t get any of the inheritance.

There’s nothing he can do about it, aside from shaking his head, but if it were up to him, Harry would not be getting this payday.

The source claimed that Prince William doesn’t think Prince Harry should get ‘handouts’ and that he and Princess Kate ‘don’t trust Harry or Meghan one bit’ and they don’t like the idea of them ‘cashing in’ on their great-grandmother’s fortune.

William doesn’t think his brother is in any position to be getting this handout and he’s letting it be known that he thinks it’s a pretty rotten situation.
William and Kate don’t trust Harry or Meghan one bit, so the idea that Harry’s now cashing in on his great-Granny’s inheritance leaves a very bitter taste in their mouths.
