An uncertain succession
As the first in the order of succession, Charles will take the throne after the 95-year-old monarch. And according to several royal experts, he already has many plans in mind. One of them is to reduce the list of official members of the royal family. This would allow him to streamline his royal duties, but also to reduce the Crown's expenses. He could thus definitively cut ties with Harry and Meghan Markle, already relegated to the background since they chose to move to California.
But it is clear that Camilla Parker-Bowles' husband is not the only one thinking about the future. According to several sources close to Prince William, the second in line of succession, the father of George, Charlotte and Louis is also thinking about big changes.
Prince Willam is said to already have many ideas in mind
From the day he was born, Prince William has been preparing for his destiny: one day or another, he will become King of England. Every decision he has made has been made with this in mind. Notably his marriage to Kate Middleton, which gave him three adorable heirs. But Lady Diana's son is also thinking about more concrete things, such as the reforms he will implement as soon as he accedes to the throne. This is what a source reveals in the columns of Us Weekly magazine.
William is already thinking about the future of the monarchy and the changes he will make. Although he respects protocol, he plans to modernise certain aspects and is on a mission to be more endearing than previous generations.
But how? That remains a mystery. But there is no doubt that his highly popular wife Kate Middleton will be able to help him in his great undertaking.
