Now that he is King, Charles has many plans for his family, including reportedly slimming down the Monarchy, which we have often heard about. This plan has been voiced for quite some time and it seems King Charles is set on it.
Now, his sister, Princess Anne, has shared her opinion on Charles as King and his future plans in a rare interview.
Princess Anne doesn’t think King Charles will change
Princess Anne sat down for an interview with CBC News, BBC’s Canadian partner. The Princess Royal said that her brother would ‘remain true’ and ‘committed’ to public service:
You know, he is committed to his own level of service, and that will remain true.
She also talked about the fact that King Charles has ‘been practising for a bit’ since he was heir apparent for more than 70 years:
You know what you're getting because he's been practising for a bit, and I don't think he'll change.

Princess Anne isn’t sure about slimming down the Monarchy
Princess Anne admits that Charles becoming King has brought a ‘shift’ in the family and the rest are doing their best to support the new Monarch. As King, Charles is the ‘key’ figure and the others are the ‘support’:

During the interview, the Princess Royal was asked about her views on King Charles slimming down the Monarchy. According to her, the notion of slimming down the Monarchy has been around for a while ‘when there were a few more people around’.
She then goes on to say that she doesn’t think it’s a good idea and she isn’t sure what more she and other members of the family can do to help:
It doesn't sound like a good idea from where I'm standing, I would say. I'm not quite sure what else we can do
