What is Princess Eugenie's 'regular job'?

Princess Eugenie is Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s second daughter. She is currently 11th in line to the throne. The Firm's number of working royals has decreased over the years, as King Charles wanted to slim down the monarchy. However, it was decided in 2016 by the late Queen Elizabeth that Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice would not be working royals, according to Cosmopolitan.

Other members of the family like Princess Anne’s two children, Mark and Zara, are not working royals. This means that they don't carry out official duties, except for special occasions like King Charles’ coronation.

Since Princess Eugenie isn’t a working royal, she needs a ‘regular job’ in order to support herself, as she doesn’t receive a formal salary from the Royal Family, as per Vogue. So what does Princess Eugenie do for a living?

Princess Eugenie runs her Instagram but it isn’t easy

Princess Eugenie recently appeared on the podcast White Wine Question Time, hosted by Kate Thorton. During the podcast, the Princess of York revealed that she is worried about being trolled on social media, which she runs herself and it is the ‘most stressful thing’.

Princess Eugenie explained that she is concerned about online trolls and she tries not to ‘overpost’ about her family life. As reported by Daily Mail, Eugenie checks her posts with ‘about five people' before sharing them online.

She told the podcast:

Before I post, I text about five people to ask if it's OK, am going to get trolled?

Princess Eugenie has around 1.8 million followers on Instagram, she regularly posts about her life and occasionally shares photos of her two children and her husband, Jack Brooksbank.

Princess Eugenie also has a ‘regular job’

As mentioned above, since Princess Eugenie isn’t a working royal, she has a ‘regular job’ working in an art gallery in London.

Princess Eugenie is the director at Hauser & Wirth, in Mayfair London. She also is the patron of Anti-Slavery International. Princess Eugenie also splits her time between London and Portugal, after her husband, Jack, was offered a job at a holiday resort.

Despite not being a working royal and receiving a formal salary, Princess Eugenie’s net worth is said to be around $6.5 million (£5,31 million) according to Vogue.
