However, the new parents might be forgoing a traditional royal baby expectation and keep the life of their child more private.
Eugenie and Jack’s baby will not be likely to take the throne any time in his life and is tenth in succession after his mother. This means that the Queen’s great-grandchild will be able to enjoy a life out of the spotlight, unlike Princes George and Louis or Princess Charlotte.
Royal expert Marlene Koenig spoke to Espress.co.uk stating: ‘We might get a Christening photo that doesn't show grandpa Andrew.’
They'll probably have a nanny, things like that. Baby Brooksbank is going to have a very quiet normal, private life. Except for the state occasions where they have big services where you'll see people like Lady Sarah Armstrong-Jones' children.
Koeing went on to state that as a great-grandchild of the Queen as opposed to a child or even grandchild, baby Brooksbank will be less of a ‘royal family member’ than others:
This baby will be a great-grandchild of a sovereign, not even a grandchild of a sovereign which is when you start falling out of the position of being a member of the Royal Family.
Koeing detailed that as time goes on and if Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli-Mozzi also decide to have children, then baby Brooksbanks position in succession will fall even further:
And the baby will be moving further and further down the succession line when William and Harry's children grown up and have descendants of their own. And, of course, when Beatrice has a baby, that baby will be ahead of Eugenie's.
But the spotlight isn’t the only thing that won’t be passed on to Princess Eugenie’s baby as other early royal baby traditions such as the hospital photocall may also not be in the cards. However, Eugenie wouldn’t be the first to forego these snaps as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle also refused to participate in the photocall after the birth of their son Archie.
