We all know that family members can look a lot alike, which is completely natural, it is family after all. But did you know that a complete stranger with no familial tie to you can look just like you? These are called doppelgangers.

According to studies, it is believed that each person has up to seven doppelgangers. However, in one lifetime it's highly unlikely you would see your doppelganger. For Princess Kate, however, it seems as though two have already manifested themselves. Moreover, one of them makes a living from looking like the future Queen.
Jill Carter dubbed Princess Kate’s doppelganger
As per Mirror, comedian Keith Lemon shared a photo of his wife, Jill Carter to celebrate Valentine’s Day in 2019. The photo is a close-up of Jill. She is wearing her dark brown hair in loose curls - a look often used by Princess Kate.
The comment section quickly noted the resemblance between the beauty therapist and the future Queen. One user joked that Prince William would be jealous. Another said they thought it was Princess Kate.
Prince William might be jealous.
I thought it was Kate Middleton.
Not much is known about Jill as Keith Lemon, whose real name is Leigh Francis, prefers to keep his personal life private. They have been married since 2002 and it is believed they have been an item since they were teenagers.
Princess Kate’s other doppelganger has been more public with her resemblance with Princess Kate and has even been forced to deny conspiracy theories.
Who is Heidi Agan, Princess Kate’s professional lookalike?
Princess Kate’s other doppelganger is Heidi Agan. However, this one goes beyond just looking like the Princess of Wales.
Indeed, as per Us Weekly, Agan is a professional Princess Kate lookalike and has studied her speech and mannerisms. In an interview with Mirror in March 2024, she explained:
[I] have had to look closely at how Kate talks and behaves. I am always mindful of how she talks. I think all look-alikes study their subjects closely because you have to self-teach.
Heidi Agan became a professional Princess Kate lookalike back in 2012 after a customer at the restaurant she worked at commented on the similarities between the two women.
Heidi’s closeness to Princess Kate caused some conspiracy theories back in March 2024. The mum-of-three took a step back from public duties due to health reasons - it was later revealed she had cancer, but is now ‘cancer-free’.
Agan had been accused of posing as the Princess of Wales in the photo of Kate and Prince William at a farm shop in Windsor. To prove her innocence, Heidi provided an alibi. As per The Independent, Heidi revealed she was working as a teacher at a dance and musical theatre group.
At the time, she told Mirror that she was working that day, so it couldn’t be her:
There has obviously been some speculation about whether it was Kate and William in that footage and stills.
In fact, my own social media has gone crazy as people think it is me, but I know it is not. I was at work at the time so I know that is not me.
