As many royal fans know, Princess Kate and Prince William met at university, but the future King had dated several women during his university days. Along the way, Princess Kate made many friends.
One friend shared a post earlier this year to show her support for the Princess of Wales as she was dealing with her health.
This never-before-seen photo shows what Princess Kate was like before her entrance into the royal fold. Moreover, we get to see how her hair looked like before she started getting styled by the finest!
Princess Kate’s natural curls take the spotlight
As per OK!, Laura Warshaur was placed in the same halls at St Andrews as Princess Kate and Prince William. Earlier in the year, to show support for her friend, Laura shared a photo of them at a flat party on Hope Street, where the royals lived during their second year at university.
In the photo, Kate is wearing a simple cream turtleneck paired with pearl stud earrings and a blue scrunchie. The Princess also kept her makeup simple and wore her hair natural, with thick brown curls.
Since becoming a Royal, Princess Kate has rarely left her natural curls to shine through, however, the Princess of Wales does have some iconic looks.
Some of Princess Kate’s most iconic looks
Princess Kate is often praised and recognised for her immaculate sense of style, which also includes how she styles her hair. Over the years, the Princess of Wales has found her own flair but one particular hairstyle often comes and goes.
Princess Kate’s classic blowout
As per People, one of Princess Kate’s most recurrent styles is the ‘perfect blowout’. She first styled the ‘perfect blowout’ for her engagement announcement with Prince William in 2010. Over a decade later the Princess of Wales continues to stun with this classic style.
Princess Kate’s classic half-up style
Who can forget Princess Kate’s incredible look on her wedding day in 2011? The future Queen opted for a simpler hairstyle with a classic half-up style paired with the iconic Cartier halo tiara and a long veil. The simple hair matched perfectly with the Princess’ detailed wedding dress.
Princess Kate with curtain bangs
Another classic look for Princess Kate includes curtain bangs. According to People, she first showed off her style during her first official visit to Cambridge in 2012. It seems as though the Princess was well ahead of the trend. The mum-of-three then brought back the curtain bangs in 2023.
Princess Kate’s many detailed updos
The Royal has often stunned the public at events with her detailed updos. Indeed, in 2012, for their Diamond Jubilee Tour of the Far East, she wore an intricate bun decorated with pearl studs.
The Princess has also often worn braided updos to several events. In 2015, for the St. Patrick's Day parade in England, she wore a low braided hairstyle, leaving plenty of space for her hat.
