Prince Harry and the Queen have always had a hot and cold relationship which is often expressed in a passive-aggressive way, if not directly. However, recently, Her Majesty spoke about the climate changes and totally snubbed Prince Harry out of it. She paid tribute to the two princes' efforts to raise awareness about the climate catastrophe, although Prince Harry was oddly missing from her speech.

The Queen said in her speech that she ‘couldn't be more proud’ of her son, Prince Charles, and eldest grandson, Prince William, for their dedication to climate change action. She addressed this in an emotional prerecorded video statement for the COP26 climate summit in Glasgow. Since her recent visit to the hospital, she has cancelled all public engagements and only takes up light desk duties.
Action in Blood
While reminiscing her late husband Philip's decades-long struggle against global warming in the emotional speech, she seemed happy that action against climate change is in the royal blood. As she mentioned how Prince Charles and Prince William are carrying on the late Duke of Edinburgh Prince Phillip's dedication to action on climate change. Mentioning her fellow heirs she said,
It is a source of great pride to me that the leading role my husband played in encouraging people to protect our fragile planet, lives on through the work of our eldest son Charles and his eldest son William.
I could not be more proud of them.
Surprisingly, Prince Harry was not mentioned because he has already spoken out on climate change issues, most recently hosting Global Citizens Live in New York. But possibly his grandmother didn't name him in the compliments because he has disassociated himself from royal life and the fact that he didn't attend COP26 in Scotland.
Keep the Politics Behind
Her Majesty was unable to attend the climate talks in Glasgow after doctors ordered her to cancel any public engagements. But in her video message, she urged people and world leaders to keep the politics aside and join hands together for the greater good of society. In her speech, she emphasised,
In the coming days, the world has the chance to join in the shared objective of creating a safer, stabler future for our people and for the planet on which we depend. None of us underestimates the challenges ahead.
