The Queen was photographed in the passenger seat of a car at Sandringham in her first trip away from Windsor since she recently took ill and was advised to rest. According to royal sources, her majesty flew to the Norfolk estate to prepare to host the family there at Christmas.

Royal Ride
The Queen was pictured in a headscarf with butterfly patterns, while being driven around in a Range Rover. The sightings of her majesty will come as a relief to concerned members of the public who have been worried about her health after she spent the night at the hospital on October 20 - the first time in eight years.
She had since been advised by her doctors to rest, causing her to cancel several engagements. Earlier in the week, she was spotted driving around Windsor.
An insider told The Mirror:
Her Majesty is very much looking forward to hosting her family at her Norfolk home for the Christmas holiday and there is much preparation to be done in time to accommodate everyone who has been invited.
Tradition Goes On
Usually around this time of year, the Queen would travel to Sandringham with her late husband, Prince Philip.
She honoured their tradition of visiting Wood Farm, which Philip loved for its simplicity; the only modernization was a new kitchen. This year will be the Royal Family’s first Christmas without the Duke of Edinburgh. The source said:
