The queen spent the night at the hospital
Her no-show came after, she spent a night in the hospital to run a few preliminary tests last week. Palace insiders confirm that she wants to be in her best form ahead of the COP26 summit in Glasgow, next Monday.
Since, Prince Philip passed away, her workload has increased by a tenfold. She had a workload of 120 official engagements in 194 days.

Going to church on a Sunday sounds just a small event but it is a very big thing for the Queen and for any woman of her age. She is very religious and it is very important personally for her to go to church every Sunday.
But she has to come out of the nice little bubble she has at Windsor Castle get in and out of cars and up and down in church. It is all exhausting. It is very sensible to give it a miss, so she can do more in the future.
The queen has a busy schedule
Her Majesty had to also cancel a trip to Northern Island last Wednesday. Her doctors advised her to rest and get back in form to conduct her duties.
Even though she has been disappointed for not making it to social events, she is said to have a whole planner thought out, citing every activity to take place in the following year—which includes celebrations to mark 70 years on throne.
The Queen will appear less before the public eyes this week, as she has been advised to nurse her health back.
Prince Charleswill be by her side at Windsor, until she recovers.

While she is the Queen, the people want to see her. She has done a fantastic job since we all came out of lockdown and since her husband died she has put on a really amazing show. She looks years younger than she really is and is looking radiant.
And let’s be honest, most people her age would have been retired for 20 years or more.
