Royal Family didn't attend Princess Lilibet's christening
Royal expert Omid Scobie tweeted that King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William, and Princess Kate were invited to the event. However, the four Royals chose not to attend. It is unclear where Scobie obtained this information, however he has previously been referred to as a 'friend of Meghan'.
This has sparked much speculation that the Royals' decision not to attend the christening was a 'snub'. Especially since Prince William and Kate attended the baptism of Kate's sister Pippa Middleton's baby, Rose, only five days earlier.

However, Royal historian Mok O'Keeffe disagrees, believing it wasn't a deliberate choice. He told Marie Claire:
I think that people may read a lot into the fact that the Royal Family missed the christening of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s daughter, Lilibet, last week.
Royal diaries are planned over a year in advance so they can fulfill official functions and support the immense amount of charities they visit each year. And then there is the small matter of planning for the coronation.
I doubt this is in any way a snub—just a case of diary clashes.
Indeed, yesterday Queen Camilla celebrated International Women's Day by hosting inspiring women from across society at Buckingham Palace. Meanwhile, Princess Kate visited the 1st Battalion Irish Guards for the first time since becoming Colonel last year, taking over from Prince William.
O'Keeffe then seemed to imply that perhaps Harry and Meghan preferred they did not attend:
As we saw from the Netflix documentary, the Sussexes are great friends with Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, and it would appear that they did not attend the christening. We know the Sussexes value their privacy, and this is reflected in the way they have chosen to christen their daughter.
