First full year with Charles as King
King Charlesascended the throne on the day Queen Elizabeth II died, September 8, 2022. 2023 will be the King's first full year as reigning monarch.
It is likely that many things will change with the new King as he has a vision of modernising the Royal Family. One of the first things King Charles talks about is slimming down the monarchy, meaning fewer working Royals.
Pregnancies to coronations
As mentioned, there is a lot to look forward to in 2023 when it comes to the Royal Family. Indeed in early February, Princess Eugenie announced she was expecting her second child with her husband.
Of course, in May, King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla will be crowned with more details spilling every day.
Prince William and Kate's eldest child, Prince George, will celebrate his 10th birthday, finally reaching the double digits. Will this mean we will see more of the young prince?
Finally, this year will be the first Trooping the Colour for King Charles.
