A tradition that spans from Prince Andrew to Prince William
The Queen has always been known to be generous to members in the Royal Family. Historically, she has been known to steer clear of awarding small trinkets and jewellery to her family members, opting instead to give away entire estates.
Previous homes she's given away include Sunninghill Park to Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York for their 1996 wedding, as well as Anmer Hall to Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Prince William and Kate Middleton following their marriage in 2011.
