Sarah Ferguson, who has recently been battling breast cancer, has learnt that her former personal assistant has been found dead in her home in Texas. The Duchess of York has shared that she is ‘shocked and saddened’ to learn of Jenean Chapman’s death.

Sarah Ferhuson’s former assistant was murdered
Jenean Chapman was found in her Dallas apartment on Monday, September 25, as per Daily Mail. Chapman had moved to the city less than five months before. The police have declared her death to be a homicide.
The 46-year-old was married to James Patrick, who has been arrested on suspicion of homicide, according to Sky News, the 48-year-old is expected to be charged with murder.
Chapman’s family revealed that she and James had been married a few months and had a ‘turbulent relationship for years’.
Jenean’s sister Nicole Marshall said, as reported by Sky News:
We were shocked because before that it was an on-and-off relationship. It was rocky, we were aware of that

Jenean Chapman was Sarah Fereguson’s personal assistant from 2001 until 2005, she landed the job shortly after graduating from Syracuse University. As Fergie’s personal assistant, Chapman had been in charge of her press and publicity as well as Fergie’s daily schedule.
Sarah Fergusonshared a post on her Instagram paying tribute to Jenean Chapman saying that she was ‘loyal, hardworking, beautiful and fun’.
She then reveals that she had been in touch with her former assistant just a few months prior to her death and that she ‘seemed so happy’.
Finally, Fergie revealed that she would be helping Chapman’s family with the cost and shared a link to the family’s GoFundMe page as they need help raising money to transport her body back to New York.
