To celebrate the 60th birthday of the late Lady Diana, a statue of her will be unveiled in the UK on 1 July.
This event was wanted and organised by the two brothers, Harry and William, who set up this project together in 2017. They even approved the designs for the statue in tribute to their mother.
A great opportunity that could have eased the tensions between Harry and his father, Prince Charles, who is still very affected by the statements made by the Sussex couple during their interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Harry absent because of Meghan?
But there is a good chance that Prince Harry will not attend the ceremony after all, according to royal expert Phil Dampier.
The reason? Meghan Markle is pregnant with their second child and could not make the trip. She might have already given birth to their daughter by then.
So, should he stay at the young mother's bedside or go pay his respects to his mother? For Phil Dampier, there is 'serious doubt as to whether Harry will come for the unveiling of the statue for Princess Diana on what would have been her 60th birthday in July,' he told The Sun.
