On Tuesday 6 September, concerns were raised when royal fans noticed her bruised hand as she appointed the new British Prime Minister Liz Truss. Doctors are concerned for the Queen's health
Buckingham Palace has released a statement about the Monarch’s health. It reads:
Following further evaluation this morning, The Queen’s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision.
The Queen remains comfortable and at Balmoral.
Royal Family on their way to Scotland
According to the BBC, Prince Charles and Camilla have arrived at Balmoral and Prince William is on his way. This indicates the seriousness of the situation. And, as royal author Robert Hardman told the BBC:
The palace don’t normally issue bulletins on the Queen’s health, unless it's significant... clearly the fact the Palace has seen fit to put out a statement is grounds for concern.
Prime Minister Liz Truss has tweeted that 'the whole country will be deeply concerned by the news from Buckingham Palace this lunchtime. My thoughts - and the thoughts of people across our United Kingdom - are with Her Majesty The Queen and her family at this time.'
