The Queen met with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau yesterday, March 7. It was her first in-person meeting since Her Majesty contracted COVID-19 on February 20. As Queen, Her Majesty is not supposed to show her political views and must stay neutral, although it would seem she hasn’t obeyed these rules.

Meeting the Canadian Prime Minister
The Queen met Prime Minister Trudeau at Windsor Castle on March 7. The latter was in the UK to discuss the ongoing crisis in Ukraine. The Queen is still the head of state of Canada and has maintained a friendly relationship during her 70-year reign.
This meeting is an encouraging sign that Her Majesty is recovering from the virus and is on the way to making a full recovery.

Her hidden message
As stated before, Her Majesty isn’t supposed to show her political stance. However, many noticed the Queen’s subtle message in the background that showed her support.
Indeed in the background of her audience with Justin Trudeau, a gorgeous bouquet of flowers is seen. These flowers were a mixture of blue and yellow, the colours of the Ukrainian flag.
Some have said this was simply a coincidence but Royal fans think otherwise. A senior royal source told The Sun‘very little tends to be an accident’ when it comes to the Queen.
It is also rumoured that the Queen donated to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal to help Ukrainians and when Buckingham Palace was questioned they refused to comment and said that it was a private matter.
