The Queen's beloved dorgi has unfortunately passed away, reports confirm. She now only has one pooch remaining after Vulcan's untimely death at Windsor Castle. The cause of death is so to be of old age, leaving the monarch with the ageing Candy as her last four-legged companion.

The Sun reports that the 94-year-old Queen willingly gave upher hobby of dog breeding because she did not want to leave any of her pets behind if and when ever she herself would pass away.
A second dead pooch for the royal family within weeks
This news comes in just 2 weeks after Prince Williams and the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, announced the death of their beloved cocker spaniel, Lupo.
Lupo was said to be an important member 'at the heart' of their family and was even responsible for picking out Prince George's name. Middleton's brother shared in an intimate post on instagram his condolences saying:
Nothing can ever prepare you for the loss of a dog. For those who have never had a dog, it might be hard to understand the loss. However for those who have loved a dog know the truth: a dog is not just a pet; it is a member of the family, a best friend, a loyal companion, a teacher and a therapist.
Vulcan, the famous Pembroke Welsh Corgi and a Dachshund mix
Though his death is sure to have left a void, he definitely had a life most dogs would be jealous of. The famous pooch starred in the 2012 Olympic ceremony, as he led the way for both Daniel Craig, in the role of James Bond, and the Queen herself when the pair made their way from the palace to the a helicopter.
Both Vulcan and Candy even made the cover of Vanity Fair in 2018 posing along side the Queen.
