Whilst the royals have been known to step out in high street outfits from time to time, they’re most frequently seen in designer looks that are way out of our commoners’ budgets. But one of the favourite designers of both Kate Middleton and Princess Beatrice has now announced an exciting collab' with H&M.

The Vampire’s Wife’s pieces will usually set you back a few hundred, if not thousand quid, but the new collection with H&M is much more affordable. Characterised by glamourous gothic looks with plenty of velvet, pussy-bow collars and metallics, the H&M range features a host of sexy, feminine pieces.
Kate Middleton wore a £1,595 metallic green midi dress from the designer for an evening reception in March–one of the Duchess’ last public events before the coronavirus lockdown kicked in. Her cousin-in-law Princess Beatrice donned a similar gown—with extra ruffles–for singer Ellie Goulding’s wedding last year.
Creative director and designer Susie Cave said:
It was a great honour to be asked to be the designer and the creative director of The Vampire’s Wife’s collaboration with H&M. H&M went to extraordinary lengths to bring the dark and sensual world of The Vampire’s Wife to life. I hope this collection gives as much joy to those who wear it, as it did for me to create it.
If you’re not convinced by the label’s royal seal of approval, it’s also been worn by a range of famous faces including Alexa Chung, Keira Knightley and Sienna Miller. With its gothic vibes perfect for the spooky season, the collection is set to launch in H&M from 22nd September. Check out the video above for a sneak peek at some of the looks that will be available!
