Adam Collard and girlfriend Zara McDermott have spoken out about their past experiences with bullying as they hit back at online trolls.

Appearing on Lorraine together, Adam revealed a photograph of himself from when he was a young boy. Until the age of 16, Adam struggled with his weight and was bullied at school because of it.
Meanwhile, girlfriend Zara has recently spoken about her own experience of bullying as a young girl - when an explicit photo she had sent to her boyfriend ended up being passed around the school. Zara told talkRADIO how she had taken nude selfies at the age of 14 and sent them to a boy she liked - who then shared them with their classmates. Zara was excluded by the school and bullied for two years whilst the boy didn't receive any punishment.
Now both Adam and Zara are talking about their past experiences to raise awareness of online bullying as well as calling out trolls who think it's OK to make nasty comments about them because they're in the public eye, with Adam saying, 'we are normal people, just because we have a blue tick we are not a punch bag for these comments.'
