Love Island, the nation’s most-watched reality TV show, has faced extreme backlash year after year for failure to provide an honest reflection of body diversity present in the UK.

But while the media often slam the show for broadcasting young individuals in a state of peak fitness and the pressure it can put on others, the benefits of such a healthy lifestyle is not always given the recognition.

Anton Danyluk, a gym owner who appeared on the 2019 series, opened up about how fitness has helped him and now he wants to inspire others to transform their lives while focussing on younger members of the public.

“I want to help young people with their fitness by promoting healthier and happier lifestyles, whether that be by releasing a fitness DVD or presenting a TV fitness show for kids. I want to help people with their mental health and wellbeing.”

However the Scotsman seems to be keen for any chance to get back on screens, admitting he won’t rule anything out, “My mum and I are up for doing Gogglebox, travel shows – you name it. Throw it as us and we will do it.”
