To shake things up further, show bosses decided to bring back series five star Arabella Chi. Before entering the villa, she confirmed that she has an ex in the villa - Toby Aromolaran. However, her most recent ex was Manchester City player Ruben Dias.

In a recent interview with The Sun given just before she headed to the villa, Arabella labelled her ex, Ruben, a ‘mistake.’ This comes after the footballer allegedly dumped the 32-year-old after their New Year’s vacation in Portugal. Arabella hasn’t even been single for a complete month as she starts her journey to find love again.
She said:
I might have recently come out of a relationship but I’m ready to meet the man of my dreams.
I don’t think there has ever been a better time after the dating mistakes I made last year.
The split from the 26-year-old defender came as a total shock to Arabella. According to her friends, she was in love with Ruben and totally ‘blindsided’ by the split.
Meanwhile, Arabella shared that in retrospect she dated guys who ‘weren’t best suited’ for her. She added:
What I’ve learnt from dating last year is that you think you know someone but you don’t really know them at all.
Arabella and Ruben met through mutual friends and started dating in September 2023. They dated privately for a few weeks before being spotted in Paris together and confirming their relationship. The reality TV star claimed that last year was her ‘unluckiest’ year when it came to finding love. She was linked with a string of lovers and romances that failed to develop into anything significant.

Apart from the footballer, Arabella Chi has been linked to many influential men in the past. Ahead of her villa stint, she revealed she had been ‘fortunate enough to hang out in Hollywood circles’ - potentially hinting at her past relationship with Leonardio DiCaprio's 'close pal' Richie Akiva.
The model split from the New York businessman and ‘king of parties’ Richie in September 2023 after a brief relationship. Before the split, Arabella was also spotted soaking up the sun in Ibiza on Leonardo DiCaprio’s yacht, confirms MailOnline.
Richie has been a ‘regular’ in the clubbing scene of New York. He has previously hosted birthday parties for the likes of Rihanna and Naomi Campbell.
Another hunk Arabella was linked with in 2023 was hunky French Rugby player Yoann Huget. The two were spotted cosying up to each other at the French Open in June 2023. Arabella was seen whispering tenderly in Yoann’s years as he giggled. A source said at that time:
They've been dating for a while and it's now turned more serious so they were happy to make it official at the French Open.
However, the relationship fizzled out as soon as it started. Now the Islander is looking for ‘true love and fairy tale dreams’ as she wants to get married and have babies soon.
