BGT fans ‘so confused’ after the recent episode: ‘I must be high…I’ve just seen a cat sing’

Britain’s Got Talent fans, viewers and judges Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and Bruno Tonioli were left speechless after they saw a cat that appeared to sing in a perfect pitch. The latest episode of the talent show saw a grey animated cat appear on stage with a Union Flag handkerchief tied around its neck.

The CGI cat - Noodle - whose intent was to be ‘famous’ just like the many dogs that have come on the BGT stage and gathered a huge fan following. The Cat said:

I thought it was time you saw a talented cat.

The CGI cat then coughed up a fur ball and started singing Michael Bublé's Feeling Good. In a clip post on Instagram, BGT judge Simon Cowell - who has undergone an immense lifestyle change - went on to say:

I always said, one year a singing animal would win Britain’s Got Talent. I’ve always said it. Now, I’ve not necessarily believe it.

To which the CGI cat replied:

You better believe it.

BGT fans in disbelief and enraged after the CGI cat singing act

The CGI cat Noodle went on to receive a ‘yes’ from all four judges as it qualified for the next round. BGT judge Bruno Tonioli, who was going through a tough time, and Alesha Dixon went on to admit that the cat singing act was ‘the most bizarre’ thing he had ever seen. Many fans agreed with him as they were in disbelief to see a cat sing on national TV. One took to Twitter and wrote:

I must be high… I’ve just seen a cat sing #BGT

Another two added:

I’m so confused, watching bgt and just saw a cat sing 😭

It's CGI animation, right? So they are really just staring at someone in a green suit on stage? #bgt.

Many thought it was a ‘ridiculous’ act and someone else should’ve gotten a chance to perform. They said:

Why have ridiculous dancing dogs and singing cats. That’s ridiculous

Ok.... did i just see a puppet cat sing on #bgt.? How ridiculous. Someone with real talent just missed out cos of that complete crap....

While many thought the person who’s actually singing behind the cat should come forward instead. They commented:

The person that is singing can obviously sing so why are they hiding behind a CGI Cat? #BGT
