BGT finds itself in a new fix row after Simon Cowell’s second buzzer, here’s what’s happening

Britain’s Got Talent has been under fire a couple of times ever since the series started this year. From unworthy Golden Buzzer acts to Bruno Tonioli’s goof-ups, the show has made BGT fans furious time and again. After Simon Cowell also broke the show rules for the second time last week, fans are all the more convinced that this series is fixed. Here’s why fans believe BGT is ‘fixed!’

BGT’s massive blunder with Simon Cowell

If you remember correctly, when Bruno Tonioli hit his Golden Buzzer for a second time, all the show and pomp of Golden confetti was missing. Show hosts Ant and Dec - who make millions through ITV - had to manually create a ‘Golden Buzzer moment’ for singer Gamal John.

However, much to everyone’s surprise, when Simon Cowell - who denies getting a facelift - pressed the Golden Buzzer for a second time, the magical Golden Buzzer confetti came raining down and flooded the stage with it. Simon told the performers:

I thought that actually was astonishing. The way you got your message across was so strong and it’s an audition I’ll never forget. We don’t have any golden buzzers left… but sometimes you should just break the rules.

You deserve that golden buzzer, it was absolutely beautiful.

And BOOM! went the confetti dynamite for dance group Unity.

BGT fans convinced the show is ‘fixed’

According to The Sun, when Bruno hit the buzzer and no confetti came down, it was because the production doesn’t prepare for more than 5 Golden Buzzer moments. Hence, the manual labour by Ant and Dec. But seeing how Simon’s buzzer flooded the stage with confetti, fans believe that it was premeditated. They took to Twitter and wrote:

#bgt funny how the confetti came down this time #FIX.

So Bruno presses the buzzer the 2nd time no confetti, Simon presses buzzer for 2nd time and the ceiling is loaded with confetti - I smell a fix.

Another added:

Why have they still got confetti if there were no golden buzzers left? #fix #bgt.

While a fourth moaned:

Bruno pressed his golden buzzer a second time and there was no confetti… but when Simon did it, there was?

Also, sorry if I’m swimming against the tide here, but if they were JUST a dance act, they weren’t getting through…
