Big Brother fans get furious as Yinrun is put in prison
After week 3's nominations - where Dylan, Hallie and Trish were put up for eviction - it was revealed that a rule break in the house has influenced the nominations. Yinrun discussed her 'feelings' with Henry about nominations and while Henry didn't take part in it, she went on to talk about it anyway.
Big Brother revealed that due to her discussion with Henry and even after being repeatedly told that no housemate should discuss nominations, her actions were not responsible. As a result, her votes (Hallie and Kerry) were revoked - which eventually got Dylan nominated.
She was also sent to a small jail outside in the garden. The 25-year-old was seen sobbing like a 5-yera-old on TV as she felt guilty for changing the course of nominations. However, some fans don't find it 'fair' that Yinrun was given such a cruel punishment as compared to Olivia and Hallie. They took to X and shared:
Why was Yinrun punished? She didn't mention any names or try to influence anyone. She was talking about the process and her feelings. What next, Big Brother? - the Thought Police, when you delve into people's minds while they're considering their nominations? Too far.
Is it me or was #Yinrun rule break not that serious? She didn't name names?
so yinrun is being punished for saying she is confused on how to nominate? she got put in jail and nominations revoked for that while olivia and hallie did worse??????? make it make sense
Hello ofcom, I'd like to report some cheating here. Why were yinrun's nominations revoked.
yinrun did not influence or get her opinions influenced at all… surely this is unfair? mate i’m fucking fuming
Yinrun was put in the jail for over 4 hours and throughout that time most of the housemates were with her. They all worked for Yinrun's freedom as they chanted 'Free Yinrun' and Henry and Jordan talked to Big Brother as her 'legal representation.' She was eventually freed after Jordan and Henry's plea.
