At last, some happy Love Island news to share! The winners of the 2016 series, Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey revealed in March that they were expecting their second child together. Already parents to two-year-old Freddie-George, Cara and Nathan have now shared that they’re having a baby girl!

The happy couple, who married in 2019, took to Instagram to share the exciting news with all of their fans. Nathan and Cara both shared matching photos of themselves posing together in front of a pink backdrop with yellow bunting and a purple text bubble in the corner proclaiming ‘It’s a girl!’.
Cara wrote:

Meanwhile, Nathan showed off his excitement by captioning his pic:

Plenty of Cara and Nathan’s celebrity mates offered their congratulations to the couple – with fellow former Islanders Samira Mighty, Hayley Hughes and Tyla Carr all offering their congratulations. Meanwhile, actress Chelsee Healey wrote ‘Oh my god! Perfect family ❤😍😍😍😍’
However, this latest news could mean that Cara and Nathan will be stopping at two – since Nathan recently claimed that he’d be getting a vasectomy once they had one of each, saying:
As long as he or she's healthy, but we'd like a boy and a girl - and then I'd tie my testicles in a knot!
